VEGFa-VEGFR Proteins
VEGFa-VEGFR proteins are the main components of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family of proteins. They are important for the regulation of vascular development and homeostasis. VEGF is a cytokine that binds to two receptors, VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2, which are transmembrane proteins located on the surface of endothelial cells.
