What is High Throughput Recombinant Antibody Production?

A recombinant antibody (RecAb) is an antibody produced using genetic engineering techniques without relying on animal use.
The high throughput production technology builds on this recombinant antibody production technique and offers a quick and robust solution for the production of tens or even hundreds of antibodies in parallel previously generated from programs like phage display, humanization, epitope mapping, and affinity maturation projects.
This technology fills a growing need in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, particularly with regard to the selection and/or optimization of leads.
