General Information about Human Troponin C, slow skeletal and cardiac muscles (TNNC1) recombinant protein

Troponin is the central regulator of striated muscle contraction. Tn consists of three parts: Tn-I is an actinomycin ATPase inhibitor, and Tn-T contains the tropomyosin and Tn-C binding site. The combination of calcium and Tn-C eliminates the inhibitory effect of Tn on the actin filaments.
