The kit includes a capture antibody conjugated to a solid support, a detection antibody, and a horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugate.
The kit works by first capturing the antibodies present in the sample using the capture antibody. The detection antibody is then added, which binds to the captured antibodies, and the HRP conjugate is added, which binds to the detection antibody. The HRP then catalyzes a reaction that produces a colored product. The intensity of the color is proportional to the amount of antibodies present in the sample.
