General information on Anti-IL23A[Homo sapiens] (Guselkumab) Monoclonal Antibody

Guselkumab is a human IgG1 lambda monoclonal antibody that targets interleukin-23. IL-23 is an inflammatory cytokine that is reponsible for the activation of the CD4+ T-helper (Th17) cell pathway in the inflammatory cascade that induces psoriatic plaque formation. Guselkumab has been used to treat psoriasis. It has been sold under the trade name Tremfya.
