General information on Anti-ITGA4_ITGB7(Homo sapiens) (Vedolizumab) Monoclonal Antibody

Vedolizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody of isotype IgG1 raised against human lymphocyte alpha 4 beta 7 integrin, a key mediator of gastrointestinal inflammation. It is used for the treatment of active ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Vedolizumab can reduce intestinal inflammation by blocking its main target alpha 4 beta 7 integrin.
